Last week, CMS released two proposed rules, Ensuring Access to Medicaid Services and Managed Care Access, Finance, and Quality, which include provisions intended to improve access to and quality of home and community-based services (HCBS) and long-term services and supports (LTSS). The MLTSS Association commends CMS for their efforts to implement the Executive Order on Caregiving and support direct care workers to improve services and looks forward to continuing our partnership to ensure that the final rules reflect the needs of beneficiaries and the providers who serve them.
