On April 26, 2021 the Association wrote a letter to Chairman Casey, Senator Brown, Senator Hassan, and Representative Dingell to commend the US Senate Special Committee on Aging for their significant leadership to advance the interests of high-need, complex care communities across the country. The discussion draft of the Home and Community-Based Services Access Act (HAA) represents a historic step toward shoring up and prioritizing critical home and community-based services (HCBS) and the families, neighbors, and professionals that provide them within our broader long-term care system. Building on these efforts, the Association also offer additional policy proposals.
