On May 4, the National MLTSS Health Plan Association, Association for Community Affiliated Plans (ACAP), America’s Health Insurance Plans (AHIP), the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association (BCBSA), and Medicaid Health Plans of America (MHPA), sent a letter to the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) requesting that they consider certain actions to support Medicaid beneficiaries by enhancing the availability of the Lifeline program during the current COVID-19 public health emergency.
