The MLTSS Association sent a letter to CMCS Director Dan Tsai requesting that a formal extension of the March 31, 2024 deadline for states to expend funds attributable to the increased FMAP for HCBS authorized by Section 9817 of the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA). The National Association of Medicaid Directors, National Association of State Directors of Developmental Disabilities Services, and ADvancing States submitted their own letter earlier this year.
