Following up on our work from July 2021, the National MLTSS Health Plan Association has updated its set of policy proposals to advance and grow the enrollment of dually eligible enrollees in an integrated model. These updated proposals consider the ever-shifting regulatory and legislative landscape around integrated care and the evolving needs of dually eligible enrollees, including the end of Medicare-Medicaid Plans in 2025, the 2023 Medicare Advantage and Part D Final Rule, and numerous legislative efforts to advance integration.
Our proposals are predicated on our steadfast position to build on the existing Dual-Eligible Special Needs Plan (D-SNP) framework and recognize the unique progress each state makes toward advancing integrated care.
