The Pennsylvania Value-Based Purchasing Innovation Showcase is an exciting opportunity for providers that serve participants in Pennsylvania's Community HealthChoices Program.

This special forum will offer providers a unique opportunity to pitch their most innovative ideas for Value-Based Purchasing (VBP) Models. The National MLTSS Health Plan Association is pleased to host this opportunity in collaboration with the Community HealthChoices (CHC) Managed Care Organization (MCO) Coalition.

Together, we hope to identify creative ideas to advance services for individuals who are dually-eligible and/or need Long Term Services and Supports (LTSS), including older adults and adults with disabilities. Through a competitive application process, a subset of providers will be invited to present their ideas in person at the VBP Innovation Showcase in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania on Wednesday, August 12th. Leaders from the three CHC-MCOs will be in attendance as well as national subject matter experts and representatives from Pennsylvania’s Office of Long-Term Living (OLTL).

The brief application must be submitted by Friday, April 17th.

The MLTSS Association hosted an informational webinar about the Showcase on March 31st.

It's interesting to see what makes a particular shop so popular that it sells out, especially during holidays. The prices mentioned seem very reasonable for the quality described. Details on this celebrated pastry shop give a good sense of what to expect.

This showcase emphasizes innovation in value-based purchasing, where patient engagement is a key metric. Creative, low-tech tools can play a role in community outreach and education programs. For example, PhotoColorify allows families to turn personal photos into coloring pages, which could be used in wellness workshops or as a fun icebreaker at health fairs.
