CMS and the Lewin Group have proposed a set of quality measures for states and managed care plans to report on their long-term services and supports (LTSS) delivered through managed care (MLTSS) and fee-for-service (FFS). The proposed measures are based on existing MLTSS measures, with revised specifications to account for the differences in the FFS delivery system. The MLTSS Association submitted comments highlighting our commitment to promoting person-centered planning, facilitating community transitions, as well as ongoing challenges regarding accessing Medicare data for dually eligible beneficiaries.
