We are delighted to announce that MLTSS Association CEO, Mary Kaschak, and MLTSS Association member Rachel Turner Chinetti of Elevance Health, have been selected to serve on the Advisory Committee for the Administration for Community Living's (ACL) Direct Care Workforce (DCW) Strategies Center.
In their roles on the Advisory Committee, Ms. Kaschak and Ms. Chinetti will draw on recommendations and best practices from the MLTSS Association’s 2023 framework on leveraging the role of managed care organizations (MCOs) to strengthen the DCW. As more states move to MLTSS, MCOs are increasingly responsible for developing a network of providers that have the capacity to support the growing population of people who need LTSS. As such, MCOs are key partners in working towards solutions to direct care workforce shortages alongside states and providers.
